Dating to the late early 20th century this adamantine cased clock has two holes on the ivorine face, one for winding the clock mechanism and one for the chimes. Eight-day Seth Thomas 89 C time/strike movement which strikes the hour on a coiled gong in the bottom of the case and strikes the half hour on a small bell. The ivorine type dial is in good condition with some yellowing and crazing. Complete with key and pendulum. Signed on the face: Seth Thomas Made in the United States of America Mechanism marked: ST Made in US America 89C This would make a great addition to any mantel or American made clock collection or a great house warming gift. MEASUREMENTS Mantel clock measures 11″ tall by 8.25″ wide by 5.5 deep and weighs 5lb 6oz. CONDITION In good clean working condition with scuffs and chips to the adamantine throughout.
