This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century SETH THOMAS Fancy Victorian Adamantine Mantel Shelf Clock with Figural Horse Topper, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn. It has a Beautiful Footed Victorian Brown Wood Grain Adamantine Veneer Case with Triple Pillar Columns on Each Side Of The Dial, and Lion Head Side Handles! The Middle Pillar Column On Each Side is an Ornate Figural Winged Brass Female Goddess, Very Unique!!! The Top Of The Clock Has a Fixed Figural Horse Topper. The Horse is Made of Brass with a Marble Base, and it is Permanently Fixed To The Clock. The Dial is a Paper Over Tin Dial with Roman Numerals, Very Clean! It has a Seth Thomas Brass Mechanical 8 Day “Time and Strike” Key Wound Movement, which Works and Strikes Correctly! The Movement is signed “ST Made in USA”. It has a Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime On The Bottom Of The Inside Of The Clock, which Strikes Once on the Half Hour, and the Correct Amount Of Times on the Hour for the Time! There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Pendulum. The Clock measures approx. 19 1/2″ Tall x 17 1/2″ Wide x 7 Deep. This will make a Stunning addition to your Home.
