Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Inlay Beehive Style Clock Serviced & Running. This nice looking clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. This model features an earlier signed Seth Thomas # 89 solid plate 8 day movement that has been serviced and is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. On a high quality flat coil gong that has a great resonating sound, and announces each half hour with a single toll. The case is classic in style and craftsmanship. It measures 13″ tall x 8 3/4″ wide x 5 deep and is still in the original finish and has aged beautifully and is in great condition. Notice the classic real inlay under the dial and around the edges and sides. The original painted 4 3/4 dial and solid brass bezel assembly is also in great condition. This clock comes complete with the key and pendulum. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. It is nearly impossible to find one in “mint” condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted.
