Antique 1890s – 1910s Cast Iron Figural Novelty Mantle Clock. Features – Gold Gilt Finish – Foundry stamped on the base (see photo 10) – 20″ tall X 9″ Wide – High Quality example for its era and has a very unique look for display to any space – Is missing the glass thats covered the dial. Movement – Time Only. Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – This clock ran for several hours after i oiled it but it then did stop. I would recommend keeping the movement oiled atthe very least but would also recommend to have it professionally cleaned if you are wanting run it consistently, thus to guarantee long term optimal operation.
