1860 vintage Antique LARGE Seth Thomas Office Calendar, Double Dial, wall Clock, with one (1) Weight Driven and amazing carving oak Case. THE CLOCK TIME WORKS AS WELL AS CALENDAR. The clock coming with key & Tim mechanical movement with 12.5 inch dial and Roman numerals and mechanical calendar movement with 14.5 inch dial and Arabic numerals. And brass pendulum and original one (1) weight driven. The clock case has vintage condition, missing some wood veneer, & both dial color is refreshing. Width set point 20 inches. The video shows the clock working; however, as with many vintage clocks, it may work intermittently. Sometimes these clocks function well, and other times they may stop. Release the weight by removing the back panel and sliding out the piece above the weight. Place the clock firmly in the desired position and wind it up. Remove the fastening from the time hand and start the clock running. Then remove the cord that connects the month roll and the fastening from the calendar hand. Move the left-hand lever up and down until the calendar shows the correct day of the week. Then move the right-hand lever in the same way until the correct month appears, and continue until the correct day of the month is indicated by the hand. At this point, the clock shows 5 o’clock in the morning. Keep the clock wound; if it runs down and the calendar falls behind a day or two, simply turn the minute hand until the calendar shows the correct date again. This clock features a perpetual calendar – when set up correctly, it will accurately display the month and day, including February 29th in leap years. Manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co.
