#556 Antique Ithaca No. 8 Double Dial Calendar Clock With ALARM

Height: 26.75 inches. Depth: 4.5 inches. Circa 1870 Ithaca Clock Co. 8 double dial shelf calendar clock in walnut. Nicely very clean beautifully refinished case has beautiful burl walnut pendulum access door, accent panels and a carved top. Original lower dial with original roller papers and nickel plated bezels. Upper dial has a replaced paper dial. The signed original 8 day time and strike movement was made for Ithaca by the E. This clock has an unusual remote alarm feature. It winds through the hole in the lower left of the calendar dial. The original lower calendar movement advances correctly. Original paper label on the backboard states the clock was set for 1886. Original nickel plated pendulum bob and newer key included. The clock has been running and changing days, date and month correctly for a few weeks, but have not been tested long term. All 3 movements have not been serviced in a long time and should be serviced. Please see the detailed photos as they are also part of the description.
