Here is recent Estate find. This is a Rare Early Antique 1895 “Bristol’s Recording Ampere Meter” Cased Victorian Mechanical Recording Ammeter, with Seth Thomas Brass Mechanical Clockwork Wind-Up Movement with Lever Escapement, Made by The Bristol Company Waterbury Conn. This Has a Key Wind Movement and includes a Winding Key. I wound it up and it is Ticking and Appears to Be Working Correctly. This is in Good Original Condition, But I think there is supposed to be a Backing Plate Behind the Paper Disks? What You See Pictured is What is Included.

SIZE IS 3 1/4 DEEP X 7 DIAMETER INCHES. 15 DAY CLOCK, DOUBLE ARBOR WIND WITH KEY. SEE THE MOVEMENT WITH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENT STILL ATTACHED TO CASE AND HOLE FOR WIRE. IN THE BACK OF HE CASE. THIS INDICATES THIS WAS THE MASTER CLOCK, AND IN THE ENGINE ROOM OR DECK HOUSE AND SIGNALED. OTHER CLOCKS FOR THE BELLS. IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION. I HAVE NOT TIMED IT BUT IS AT LEAST 15 DAYS AND MAYBE 30 DAYS. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION CASE WISE. INCLUDING ANSONIA, KROEBER, WATERBURY AND SOUTHERN CALENDAR.

Hinged wood back door. Pendulum internal to clock. Round glass hinged face cover. Windup key, original manufacturers label. This is for clock No. 4300, 4500 and 4600 series 8-day pendulum. It measures 9 1/2″ tall x 8 1/2″ wide x 5 1/4 thick. Overall, the piece is in good condition reflecting normal wear. Appears to be all original. Manufactured in Thomaston, Connecticut, USA.

This is a Very cool clock! There Is no visible manufacturers logo but it does have made in France stamped on the back. It appears to be in good condition otherwise. Let me know if you have any questions. See photos for details and condition.
