The Balance Wheel and hair spring are in good condition. Powered by a battery with its own access door on the back of the case. Inside, a small electric motor performs two functions: every half hour, contact is made, and the motor runs the strike component and also winds a small barreled spring, which runs the clock itself. Untested timekeeping accuracy is not guaranteed.

And original Seth Thomas, German movement. The barometer has 4 silver dial with arabic numerals. & chrome case # 7210. Clock and barometer size. Tall 3.5 inches. WALNUT BASE STAND SIZE. Widest point 19 inches. Deep 3.5 inches. It is NOT a house strike clock. The code is based on the crew’s typical workday routine while the vessel is underway.
