This a fully and properly restored Seth Thomas “Whitby” model clock from 1913 that is in Beautiful like new condition and has been fully restored. The most beautiful original mahogany cabinet with gold inlayed marquetry has been thoroughly cleaned, polished and waxed to it’s original luster and presents overall as it did over a century ago and has virtually no flaws. Her Majesty the Queen of all Seth Thomas clocks. This beautiful Seth Thomas Chime No. 97 was produced in the year of 1928. The original finish Mahogany case is the most stunning that I have seen in a long time as the pictures will show with no spider web lines (crazing). All the best features are on this model. Step up molding on the bottom front and sides of the clock with step down moldings at the 3 and 9. An open scroll like outline that starts at the 3 and 9 and stops at each end. THIS CLOCK BELONGS TO AN 84 YEAR OLD LADY WHO GOT IT FROM HER PARENTS. SEVERAL YEARS AGO, SHE HAD IT CHECKED BY A CLOCK REPAIRMAN AND TAUGHT HER HOW AND WHEN TO WIND IT.
