Beautiful estate find Seth Thomas brass clock. I tested this for 12 hours. It seemed to keep accurate time within a minute. However, after 12 hours, it didn’t keep accurate time. I’m sure it needs a clockmaker to adjust the mechanism. Also, check out all the detailed photos to get an idea of the overall quality and condition of this clock. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Mantle Clock In Running Condition Classic Style. Here is a nice looking hour and half hour gonging mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. USA, nearly 100 years ago. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and serviced and is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. On an antique cathedral style gong and announces each half hour with a single toll. The case is in nice condition.
