This is a beautiful antique Seth Thomas 8-Day Mantel/Shelf Clock. It is a crystal Regulator clock. I think the Model is Empire or Empire 301. The face is marked “Seth Thomas”. On the back of the clock works is marked’Made in US America. The double barrel pendulum is not filled with mercury. The clock in excellent vintage condition, i. Seth Thomas Mantle Clock Model 124 A with Mayland movement, 5 hammer Westminster chime. Runs and strikes reliably, comes with what appears to be original key and pendulum. Doric arch case with marquetry. Case is good, light wear marks the worst of which is near the 8 o’clock pos. Bezel and face showing signs of light wear (pics). I have literally overhauled 20 or 30 of these specific movements. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and serviced and is in good running and gonging order.
