WWII USAAF RAF Sector Clock Seth Thomas USA Bakelite Military Radio Room, 1940

Seth Thomas movement in brass. (only a few hundred were made). Minor superficial scratches barely visibles in front acrylic. It is in working, running condition but need clean service. Back shows GE logo, and a stamped serial number in white. Very good condition, no cracks in bakelite, no key. Original cardboard dial slight wear and tear visible on photos. 26 x 8.5 cms. The original signed Seth Thomas movement has been serviced and is in good running and gonging order. Our service includes ultrasonic cleaning and repair of anything that might be found wrong, including excessively worn bushings. The “Adamantine” finish, which is a patented laminate finish first used in the late 1800’s, is in very good shape for its age.
