Large old brass clock from Allis-Chalmers Milwaukee Works. It was made by the American Steam Gauge & Valve Company and has a Seth Thomas movement. The face is about 10 inches diameter and the bezel is 12 3/8 inches. It is in working order with some issues. The movement is a vintage replacement. The glass is also replaced. It has tarnish and wear and the back rim has a bend at the top mounting hole. The keys both work, but are replacements. The door often does not lock when it is shut. This is a Seth Thomas Eclipse wood wind up wall clock. The number on inside edge of the door is marked No. There is a broken corner of the glass (see picture) this clock also has a bell, the bell winds but does not have a stop and it just runs out as soon as you stop winding it and the striker does not hit the bell. This is an excellent example of a Brass 8 day Seth Thomas Gingerbread style mantle clock. All original stickers intact and nice. Original Stencil on the glass in good condition. A few finish imperfections, and a splinter missing that is not noticeable without serious inspection, but 10 times better then most. It appears to have had a coat of varnish added, or maybe original. I got good pics of wear and the missing tiny splinter, which again is very hard to spot as its only an edge corner, heck it could have happened taking it out of the box new.
