Here is a very original Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow 30 hour wood clock, invented by Eli Terry. This one has the desirable carved eagle splat and curly maple half columns. A great, intact label and possibly the first finish. The movement runs freely without the verge, but I have not run it. It needs a pair of weights which are easily found. I have for sale an absolutely beautiful antique Seth Thomas mantle clock. The piece features a faux marble & column design on each side. It something like a celluloid material. The feet are painted gilt wood, as are the top and bottom of the columns. There’s a hairline on the right side on the bottom-right corner in the decorated celluloid.
