The clock is the Mayflower type and I was told it was made in the 1920’s or 30’s. Either way it keeps very good time, strike’s, 8 day wind and original unpolished chrome. The only thing I cannot do is shut off the strike. See all the pictures and this clock needs a home!

For your consideration today we have the following for sale. A good Seth Thomas Marine Lever. It has a 4″ dial, 5.5″ screw bezel. See pictures as they are part of the listing. Good springs, case, glass, hands. Some blemishes on dial. Normal wear and tear for age. Brass case mounted in mahogany case. It could be removed. Runs 15 minute test with no issues. Make a fair offer.

The clock is in nice condition with no major issues. It appears that it had a dedication plate on the stand, just below the clock. It could be color matched pretty easily, but it’s not noticeable enough to worry about. Mechanically the clock is mostly untested. It was wound and ticked while it was being listed. When the hands were cycled it chimed. This is a nice heavy clock issued by Seth Thomas and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!

Really Cool Clock — Here’s what we know. It works – see below. The Brass base has been stamped as follows. Hitt 1981 suggesting it might be a 20 year employment or retirement award. The brass plate stamp likely places the date of manufacture to the early 1980’s. The bells work, but it looks like the hour hand needs to be adjusted two hours forward to align with the correct bell sequence. This is a nice example of of a marine clock made by the famous clock company, Seth Thomas. It is 5 1.2 in diameter. The dial is about 4 1/4 in daimeter. It has a finely made jeweled movement, equal in quality to the highly regarded Chelsea clocks. The clock has been running well.
