Description Here is a nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike shelf clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the early 1900’s. This clock is in a red woodgrain style Adamantine finish which may have been designed to simulate rosewood or simply red marble. The brass bezel and dial assembly is in nice shape for its age. Here is beautiful 1905 to 1909 Seth Thomas (Stratford) beehive mantle clock. It has a like new porcelain dial with beveled convex glass. It stikes on the hour and half hour. The cabinets in beautiful condition. The movement was completely disassembled, cleaned with all components inspected. Several bushings were replaced where required. It’s been running in test for several months and ready to go.
