The stand is damaged as seen it has broken on one side and is missing the clock face has some scratches and could use a good polishing on the brass if you can’t on don’t want to fix the stand this would make and awesome hanger clock the movement does works. The Seth Thomas US Navy Mark I Deck Clock from 1943 is a vintage original piece made in the United States during World War II. Stands 9″ high x 10 1/2″ wide x 3 deep. (includes stand) Polished Brass on a wood stand. In working order, strikes appropriately and keeping good time. Marked by the maker (see pictures) Marked German Movement (picture 11) There is brown tarnish on the back and on the base of the stand (pictures 13,14,15) and handwriting on the base (picture 12) Comes with key.

This original vintage piece from Seth Thomas is a unique and collectible item that not only winds up and strikes the bell, but also works great. It is a true testament to the quality craftsmanship and historical significance of maritime clockmaking. It is 7″ in diameter and stands 4″ tall.

Date on the movement is 1921, so it was made sometime after that. I see “11-35″ scratched into the case. It has a 6 silvered dial. Cosmetically it’s nice. I see that one of the rear feet is cracked and there are some spots on the bezel, but overall it’s nice and shows age but not abuse. Mechanically the clock is mostly untested. It was wound and ran here and when the hands were cycled, it chimed. The movement appears to be pretty clean, but the last service is unknown so expect some adjustments there too.
