Antique Late 1800s Waterbury Cast Iron Mantle Clock working in very good condition. The clock chimes with a bell rather than a gong. The clock has a pendulum but it is not the original. I believe that the key is the original. Not everyone takes such care. All the clocks that I list are tested to be working for days and even weeks but some times the postal carrier is not careful and there are issues caused by the clock being jostled.

You are looking at a beautiful Seth Thomas Burl Wood clock. The key is with it and I wound it. I tried to start the pendulum, but not sure if it is on correctly, so from fear of overwinding or breaking something I left it be. Photo #9 shows a couple of rough spots on the top back edge with a coin between them. The brass or copper is tarnished. This measures approximately 16 1/2 x 7″ deep x 10 3/4″.
