NICE ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS MANTLE CLOCK. THIS CLOCK IS STRING WEIGHT DRIVEN AS YOU CAN SEE THE WEIGHTS. THEY LOOK NICE, GOOD SHAPE FOR THE AGE. STRING HAS BEEN REPLACED, NOT SURE WHEN. The item you are looking at is a very rare antique Seth Thomas wooden electric mantle clock with alarm. I don’t know anything about these old clocks. I took many photos to show the clock from every angle. There is some dust on the inside of the clock face (which can be removed) that can be seen in the photos at the bottom of the face. I have for sale an antique, turn of the century, oak Seth Thomas shelf clock. The glass features (4) military battleships, and is from the Seth Thomas Fleet Series. Model #: 298B Date: 1907 Approx. 8 Day Time & Strike. The clock is in working condition, but it is loosing a little time. It has lost about 4 minutes in the last 9 hours, so it will need a slight adjustment if you want it to keep perfect time. The chime works as well.
