Up for sale is a beautiful Seth Thomas Mantle Clock. It also chimes marvelously. This item has been previously owned. And shows wear from age/history and is. Fragile in some places. This Seth Thomas was repainted by someone so I just cleaned up the case. Movement was cleaned and oiled with a new suspension spring put in place. Counts the hour with a bell on the half hour. You may have to reset and adjust the timing on this or any spring clock. They are all cleaned and polished without using polyurethane. Check out my other items! Seth Thomas City Series Parlor Clock Omaha model with alarm. This clock keeps perfect time, it has been running in my shop for over 30 days. It chimes on the half hour and chimes the count on the full hour. The alarm rings a nickel bell. The chime has a beautiful tone watch the video below to hear it. The case is in very good condition with no dents or repairs. The glass on all 4 sides has no damage or chips except for left side bottom. There is a minor repair to a chip. The 3.5 porcelain dial is in very good condition with a possibility faint hairline at 9. The adjustable pendulum is original and works correctly with this movement. 1920s Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock Working. Displays and keeps accurate time. The clock measures 6 wide, 9.5 tall and 5.5deep. The case is in very good condition with very few marks(see top). No repairs or breaks. The 3.5dial, 4 bezel and beveled glass are all in great shape. The 8 day brass movement is clean and keeps accurate time. However, the movement does not strike each hour correctly. The movement correctly strikes once on every half hour but only strikes once at the top of every hour.
