If you give the pendulum a little push, it will run about 30 minutes again. It does chime when it comes around. Has some scratches to the case. Includes pendulum but no key. Antique 1882 ANSONIA Cast Iron Black Mantel Clock with Rams heads and lovely etched flowers with red inset as shown. Rare and unusual to find a rams head Ansonia this large: 15.5″ long X 9.5″ high. Great figural Rams head on each side. In good antique condition–look at photos. Beautiful chime on the hour and half hour. Key is not original but works with the clock and might be an En Welch, Waterbury or Seth Thomas key.

Case measures 10 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 16h. Bell on the hour only. 4 7/8 stamped on the brass front plate. Looks like an alarm feature could be added. You won’t be disappointed. Net weight is 6 lbs.

Beautifully colored Seth Thomas Mantel Clock for repair. The clock is in wonderful cosmetic condition, and more than likely, it can get up and running quickly. It looks to be taken care of quite well. It seems the hook that holds a pendulum bob is broken, and I’m guessing replacing that may get the clock going, just a guess. I have come across these clocks many times and never see one in quite this condition. That’s why I’m guessing replacing the pendulum arm may do the trick. This antique Seth Thomas Gothic Steeple Clock, also known as the “Sharon” model, is a beautiful and functional piece of Victorian decor. With an 8-day movement and a chime sequence of time and strike, this clock runs and strikes smoothly, but not tested for accurate timekeeping. Made of mahogany wood and brass, this clock features a rectangular shape and stands at 14″ tall, 9″ wide, and 6 long. The white face has black Roman numerals, with hand painted pink flowers and green leaves to top and bottom corners. Under the face is a black glass with gold tone oval pendulum window.
