The case is in very good condition, but the clock is not working. It’s not overwhelmed because I can still wind it, but it’s just not working.

This is a very rare complete example of a Seth Thomas 1899 carriage clock. This model is the exclusive with an alarm and a second hand. Original crystals all around unbroken unscratched for the most part the design on the Brass on the face of this is still very legible. The back is original, and opens and closes and latches handle is original and is on bent. This antique Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock features lion head accents and a pillar design. Fully functional and dating back to the 1880s, it’s a timeless piece for collectors and home decor enthusiasts. This clock comes with a pendulum and a key. It measures 14.5×6.5″ and is 11″ tall. Made in the United States by the renowned maker Seth Thomas, this clock features a brass and wood construction that exudes a sense of nostalgia and authenticity. The clock mechanism was changed in 2020, the clock is non functioning now.

The clock is in nice condition with no major issues. It appears that it had a dedication plate on the stand, just below the clock. It could be color matched pretty easily, but it’s not noticeable enough to worry about. Mechanically the clock is mostly untested. It was wound and ticked while it was being listed. When the hands were cycled it chimed. This is a nice heavy clock issued by Seth Thomas and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
