Gorgeous 8-Day clock by Seth Thomas. This old piece has been in our family for generations, and is looking for a new family to enjoy it. It does include the key, and when wound it keeps decently accurate time. Note it is an 8-day clock, so if you want to use it for time you will have to wind it! There is an extra piece on the bottom, I’m not sure if it is a piece that needs to be repaired. It does chime, with a nice delicate tone, not loud. Antique Seth Thomas Thirty Hour Spring Chime Clock with Original Pendulum. Clock measures 15-1/4″ tall x 11-1/2″ wide x 4-1/2 deep. Beautiful wood cabinet is in excellent condition. We wound it slightly. It kept time for a half hour and chimed before we packed it. Appears the clock dial may have been painted. Does not include key. Please assume the clock needs TLC, mechanical cleaning, tuning, oil. We tested for a half hour only. Made from a beautiful dark hardwood, likely mahogany, and features a beehive shape with rounded corners. Black roman numerals against a bone-white metal face.
