This is a very nice Seth Thomas #5 Double-Dial perpetual calendar clock. The clock runs great and the calendar functions good. I have owned this clock for about 18 years. The walnut case is in very nice condition! As seen in the photos, there are paint-chips on both dials due to the age. The glass appears to be original since you can see the flaws in the glass. Clock is in good shape overall with a few signs of wear on the case, but no major damage. Has the pendulum weight but does not have a key, so I’m unable to wind it to test. Internal parts appear to be in good shape with no damage or signs of wear. Measures 11″ x 5″ x 9. There are some dates in pencil that I’m assuming are dates the clock was serviced, but I cannot say for sure if that’s what they mean. This is one of Seth Thomass 5 bell, Sonora chime clocks. The clock has been running and chiming for days without issue. The bells sound nice and the cadence is good. The case is in nice original condition with a few scuffs and a small veneer chip on the top rear of the clock. Its not noticeable from the front of the clock. The movements look clean and must have been maintained at some point. I think this is one of the earlier cases because it utilizes a removable back door. The dial is signed by a Baltimore Jeweler. This is a large Ashcroft Manufacturing Co. It uses a double wind Seth Thomas marine lever movement and runs well. The case is nickel silvered and has held up pretty well over the years. Its keeping time pretty well. The case uses a side key that probably isnt original, but it works ok. The winding key is not original. I also notice a slight dent in the bezel right around the 2, but its not noticeable in the pictures and is hard to detect otherwise. This is a rare clock and larger than most.
