This pair is from a yacht that was refurbished. They have been stored in a drawer for over 20 years without the battery. The clock started right up as soon as I put a new AA battery in. I saw a bit of movement in the needle of the barometer when I turned the silver knob, but I can’t guarantee it works. The front of the set is in excellent condition. There is a bit of wear on the backside from being mounted to the yacht’s cabin for several years prior to me acquiring them. Im not sure exactly what is happening, but they dont seem to be working. Maybe I just need a different battery, or maybe the clock mechanism needs to be replaced, Im not sure. Ive included a picture of the mechanism so youre aware of what the issue could possibly be. There are a few finish scrapes also, which Ive tried to show in the picture. The instruments measure just over 6 inches across the mounting flange and stand about 3 inches from the wall. Comes with the two mounting brackets, and the thumbnail screws that lock the instruments in place. These come from a local estate, and are in wonderful condition. We put a new battery in the clock and it fired right up. Barometer seems to be falling slightly indicating changing weather, like we seem to be having!
