Antique Seth Thomas 8- day Reverse Painted Mantel Clock. The reverse painted flowers are on the round glass portion at the front bottom. The case has half columns on either side and triangular wood accents with gold tones. The clock chimes on the hour and half hour, The clock was made in Thomaston Connecticut, beginning in 1865 and after. The case appears to be original finish Walnut. Made by Seth Thomas out of Plymouth Conn. USA in the late 1800’s. 25″ tall, 14 7/8″ wide, and 4 1/2 deep. Looks to be walnut but please see pictures to be sure. Front glass panes are in good shape with no cracks. The top glass has that old wavy appearance to it. Good antique patina throughout. The outside cabinet has small scratches etc. The face has patina. The reverse paint is chipping in areas. No key or bob. The strings and hooks are still present. PLEASE AS QUESTIONS IF NEEDED.
