This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made. An old Seth Thomas calendar clock. The movement has been oiled and is in good running condition. I don’t think the case has been stripped, but it looks like someone clean, revived the finish sometime ago. The dial paint has some cracking, scratches, marks, etc. There is missing paint by the 25 and 30. There is some glazing missing around the inside of the bezel. The recessed parts of this case still have a bit of white polish residue from the last hand polishing. Brass case could still use a bit of touch up as it hasn’t been recently polished. Porcelain face is good with no wear to the floral decoration. There is a very small chip at the top keyhole for the f/s adjustment. Measures 11 tall and has the ST signature on fave and movement. Faux mercury inserts would benefit from a cleaning. This clock is running nicely but it hasn’t been recently serviced and comes with no guarantees.
