This clock is 10″ tall with an 8 1/4″ wide base and is made of either copper or brass with a high copper content. The base has beautiful raised Victorian decorative detailing on three sides. Up for sale is this antique Seth Thomas Chime #95 Mantle Clock. This is a parts or repair project. The movement has consistently run for 4-5 minutes before stopping (I tried six or seven times at least). It did Chime as it passed the quarter hours, but the rods are a bit bent so it sounded a little muted and awkward. A key will be included. The finish is quite shiny, there is a rough spot right near the start of the curve on the right side, and the footing in that side is a bit chewed up both shown in photos. Be “on the Ball” with this working historic clock from the Balls Watch Company/Seth Thomas. It has faint pencil marks on the back panel that possibly tell something about where it came from but are too faded to read. Look close at the close up of the back panel and you’ll see the faint writing. It appears to be original and untouched. The original Balls label is intact and covering the original Seth Thomas label.
