This antique Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock features lion head accents and a pillar design. So take a look at pics here at all pics for conditions and size. It’s been running for several days here.. Keeping looks to be good time have not tested for length of time or accuracy here. But is running and doing its thing with the strike gong. This clock is absolutely beautiful! Make a statement for sure! You don’t want to let this beauty pass you by! A great piece of history here. This Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll clock Invented by Eli Terry, measuring 29″ tall and 16″ long, features a classic design with a beautiful case and painted scene. The clock does not currently run. The hands are loose.

The best way to confirm is seeing, the internal threaded rusty post, the turned cast brass top and thin spun brass bowels. I’ve seen these finials on the early Seth Thomas off center pendulum Pillar & Scroll clock, and Few later models. Those were first produced around the 1818 era. FOR THE FEW WHO HAVE A SETH THOMAS OFF CENTER PILLAR AND SCROLL CLOCK WITH REPLACEMENT FINIALS. THESE WILL AND ALOT OF VALUE TO YOUR RARE CLOCK. I’M LOOKING TO FIND ONE OF THESE RARE CLOCKS. IF I FIND ONE. I’D BE KEEPING THESE FINIALS.
