Antique Cincinnati Time Recorder Company – Movement by Seth Thomas Clock. Interesting old clock that still ticks away when pendulum swings. I did not wind nor did I check to see if it keeps time. 1920’s Seth Thomas Mahogany Mantel Clock 89AL Movement, Works/Chimes Perfectly! Pre-owned in excellent condition. All functions work perfectly. No scratches on glass or damage to hinges. Except for very light discoloration the winding slots on dial, the clock is nearly pristine. Original condition; it has not been repaired or refinished. On the movement are the notations “ST” in a circle, “Made in USA”, and “89AL”. There are no pits in the movement plates which dates this piece as an antique. Please watch video provided. Vintage SETH THOMAS 14.5 Beehive Shelf Clock 48 0 Movement RUNS / NO PENDULUM. This clock measures 14.5″ tall by 9″ across at the base. The dial is marked Seth Thomas as is the movement inside. Speaking of the movement, it has the code 48 0 (or 48 O) towards the bottom. I wound this up a few turns and it started ticking right away very fast.
