Up for sale is. Banjo style wall clock for 8 day winding. The clock contains A200-005 Strike Movement. The clock contains a pendulum ball assembly and winding key. The clock features a mechanical movement powered by a pendulum spring and comes with a key for winding. The clock is crafted from wood, glass, and metal. The eagle on the top of the case is missing. Measuring 26″x 9 1/2″x 4. The clock can be a good addition to your nice room decoration. Please, see pictures for more details and ask your questions if you have them. Has no cracks or major issues. Any minor imperfection is visible in the pictures. Measures 5 1/4 round. Is in solid working condition. It’s the exact item in photo.

The Balance Wheel and hair spring are in good condition. Powered by a battery with its own access door on the back of the case. Inside, a small electric motor performs two functions: every half hour, contact is made, and the motor runs the strike component and also winds a small barreled spring, which runs the clock itself. Untested timekeeping accuracy is not guaranteed.

Vintage Seth Thomas Banjo 8 Day Wall Clock With 4 Jeweled Movement.

The clock is in very fine condition and complete it is in running and keeping very good time. Fitted with a Seth Thomas double spring, detached eleven jeweled escapement, compensating balance wheel, Breguet hairspring, cut steel pinions, and heavy milled solid brass plates. These movements were Seth Thomas’ very high end performers and where also used in their railroad clocks. The dial is engraved and silvered and is very clean. The clock movement is all housed in a solid heavy cast brass case with hinged plate glass bezel and keyed door lock. Note between the 5/6 o’clock position on the bezel there is a crease but is still all intact. […]

It’s in the original brass case with front glass. The movement is a double Spring movement that is original and well-maintained. However, it will only run sporadically and needs to be cleaned. The case has quite a bit of tarnish and could be polished up considerably. Please check the photos closely for additional details.

Measures 7 Inches in Diameter, and 3 1/2 Deep. Comes with a Winding Key.
