Here is a large cleaned and serviced Seth Thomas movement stamp with a patent date of Dec 28, 1875. There is also a stamp that reads either FOA or FQA. It is mounted on a board with a pendulum and chime rod. It has a seconds bit, chimes on the hour, runs well and keeps good time. A fun conversation piece. Like a skeleton clock! A nice vintage shelf or mantle clock. In overall fair to good used condition with some finish wear to the case. Looks to be a rosewood veneer. There is one small area of separation on the back side that is not visible from the front. Has a celluloid face with a bit of mild wear. There is no key. Here we have a nice Seth Thomas Double Dial Calendar Clock, with 8 Day Movement. I believe it the parlor style? The case is homemade, but looks to be well built out of solid wood. I think the clock and calendar movements are original… But Im not 100% sure. It currently keeps good time and runs smooth with a nice even tic (or beat) on a level surface. Comes with a new key and pendulum. It also features a nice bell chime that counts every hour. The calendar movement will need adjusting. This super nice clock is in very good strong running condition as shown with no breaks or cracks. It has the highly desirable Mayland Chime Rods. Their chime is beautiful, rich and lyrical! It chimes a partial chime on the quarter hour and chimes the full chime and the correct number of dongs on the hour. Glass face has good hinges and latches closed securely. The paper dial was replaced. The only thing I see is the door hinge was missing. The measurements 15.25x 15.25 square, 4.25 deep. Clock is in good condition no damage then I can see.
