Seth Thomas 48J Rack and Snail 8-Day movement, strikes on cathedral gong on the half hour, and on the hour with the hour count. Clock has a Beautiful Fully Restored Mahogany cabinet with natural patina left, excellent condition. I believe the piece is Seth Thomas – the hands are Asian style and spell out ST. I didnt see a mark on the movement. Beautiful piece, but needs work. The movement isnt working and will need repaired. The case is engraved, the dial is porcelain l and it has an open escapement. The movement is not marked where I can see it. The door is missing and there are 2 back feet missing.
