The front cover opens but you have to align the catch part when closing. It is off by an 1/8. The key is included. I wound it and started the pendulum swinging. Seth Thomas Mantle Clock Adamantine. Estimated to be from the 1880s. Seth Thomas Adamantine with label 295A and movement no. High Grade 21 Jewel movement. Measures 18 in wide x 11 in tall x 7 in deep. Includes the winding key. Pre-owned condition with some light signs of use. The clock runs when on a level surface. Might need slight adjusting at the screw on the pendulum. Please see the pictures for the most accurate condition description. All items I sell are marked with an invisible UV identifier.
