The brown discoloration is very heavy on the top throughout. There is a pencil eraser sized veneer flake on the center of the top. There is a silver dollar sized stain along the top center. Clock is in good shape overall with a few signs of wear on the case, but no major damage. Has the pendulum weight but does not have a key, so I’m unable to wind it to test. Internal parts appear to be in good shape with no damage or signs of wear. Measures 11″ x 5″ x 9. There are some dates in pencil that I’m assuming are dates the clock was serviced, but I cannot say for sure if that’s what they mean. This is one of Seth Thomass 5 bell, Sonora chime clocks. The clock has been running and chiming for days without issue. The bells sound nice and the cadence is good. The case is in nice original condition with a few scuffs and a small veneer chip on the top rear of the clock. Its not noticeable from the front of the clock. This is Seth Thomass 5 bell Sonora chime clock with a signed Fred Bucher & Sons Baltimore Md. The clock is in nice condition and seems to run and chime properly. The case looks to have been re-shellacked at some point, and looks pretty good. There are a few scratches and scuffs, but overall the clock looks great with a rare signed dial. This is a beautiful Seth Thomas Shasta Mantle Clock. It is a real treasure to find one this old in excellent working condition as it was made ca. These models are pictured in Tran Duy Ly’s Seth Thomas Clocks, and I have not seen too many of these with actual gold stencil in the black adamantine wood front and 4 open columns, making this model decently rare.
