1920’s Seth Thomas Mahogany Mantel Clock 89AL Movement, Works/Chimes Perfectly! Pre-owned in excellent condition. All functions work perfectly. No scratches on glass or damage to hinges. Except for very light discoloration the winding slots on dial, the clock is nearly pristine. Original condition; it has not been repaired or refinished. Beautiful wood clock, runs fine, it is loosing some time though, so it needs adjusting. Chimes on the half hour and of course the hour. This is about 21″ x 5-1/2″ x 9-1/4 tall. Front glass/bracket is a little loose in that it doesn’t stay closed. On the clock mechanism, I can see the ST (Seth Thomas) stamp, also it appears to read 120 below that. This is an absolutely stunning dome shaped Seth Thomas antique mantel or shelf clock. It is mahogany with a gorgeous inlay accent. It runs and keeps time. It is missing its key but it was tested with a spare key. It does have the pendulum. It has some scratches and wear to the finish – please see photos.
