This is an interesting Seth Thomas drop dial striking wall clock that has a New South Wales Government Railways dial. These clocks come up for sale infrequently and are good collectables. There is sign of the clock having a number plate below the dial but the plate no longer exists. Great clock working well and keeping time. We havent serviced the clock but all is operating well. This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made. It is 32″ tall, 16″ wide and almost 6 thick. The face is 12 in diameter and has a bit of ware on the bottom numbers from the hands, which are loose, that may have been rubbing. This […]

Up for sale is this very unusual Seth Thomas Parlor or Kitchen Clock. Im not sure if this was part of the City Series or what the model is called. It has the beautiful lyre shaped Movement and impressive brass and iron Coil Gong. I literally tested this clock for 15 minutes prior to listing, just long enough to hear it Strike, and it has a very deep resonance. Measures about 15 3/4 x 11.
