Up for sale is an Antique Waterbury Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock. The clock features 4 glass panels, a porcelain dial, an open escapement movement, and simulated mercury pendulum. The clock ran when tested, chiming on the hour and half hour. A note inside indicated that it was last serviced in May of 2018. The case is in very good condition with no dents or repairs. The glass on all 4 sides has no damage or chips except for left side bottom. There is a minor repair to a chip. The 3.5 porcelain dial is in very good condition with a possibility faint hairline at 9. The adjustable pendulum is original and works correctly with this movement. The recessed parts of this case still have a bit of white polish residue from the last hand polishing. Brass case could still use a bit of touch up as it hasn’t been recently polished. Porcelain face is good with no wear to the floral decoration. There is a very small chip at the top keyhole for the f/s adjustment. Measures 11 tall and has the ST signature on fave and movement. Faux mercury inserts would benefit from a cleaning. This clock is running nicely but it hasn’t been recently serviced and comes with no guarantees.
