Front brass trim and glass hatch opens from the side. Front Measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/2 inches thick. Back plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter. Made in the U. Four pre drilled holes already exist for mounting. Front face has two key turns for winding (key included). Clock does wind up on both sides but not working.
