It does wind up but ive not figured out how to set it on the center dial. So unknown on alarm. But caae is in great preowned consition and movement as ypu can see in photos great shape.

Beautiful estate find Seth Thomas brass clock. I tested this for 12 hours. It seemed to keep accurate time within a minute. However, after 12 hours, it didn’t keep accurate time. The front cover opens but you have to align the catch part when closing. It is off by an 1/8. The key is included. I wound it and started the pendulum swinging. Antique Seth Thomas OG clock. Mahogany case, good hand painted dial, good interior paper, original cast weights. Has 1/2hr strike and alarm. Measures 15 1/2 x 25 x 4 deep. Weights are 2’8″ and 2’13” which makes it a 30 hour clock I believe. Very original clock from what I can see, would guess 1880’s. Wants to run, certainly could use cleaning.
