This clock comes with an alarm mechanism that I tend to see less and less of these days in clock collecting. Often these mechanisms will be seen in Ogee clocks and 8 day spring driven mantle clocks. Up for sale is a very decent but not the fanciest Seth Adamantine in very good condition and runs and chimes as it should and a pretty strong runner. The original dial was very brown and flaking so thats a proper timesavers paper. Everything else seems original except pendulum. Seth Thomas clocks were crafted in nearby Thomaston Ct and are along with Ansonia most sought and collectable. Case sits flat and square.
