I bought it at an estate sale and I don’t know much about clocks but I’ll tell you what I do know. It does wind when I turn it (in other words, the key is the right size). When I push the pendulum, it works just a little and then slows down and stops. One time it actually ran for 10 minutes but then stopped. The pendulum looks great. On the clockwork lower right is the number “4½” which I’ve read is the pendulum length. On the clockwork is also “Made in USAmerica” and the Seth Thomas Logo. Measures approximately 18 inches in total length including the bottom feet by 7 inches wide including the bottom feet by 11 inches tall including the bottom feet. Exterior is moderately dirty and dusty throughout. Exterior shows moderate to heavy surface scratching, scuffing, general wear, paint wear and brown discoloration throughout. The brown discoloration is very heavy on the top throughout. There is a pencil eraser sized veneer flake on the center of the top. There is a silver dollar sized stain along the top center.
