Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock 1904 Serviced and Running. This is a nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut 118 years ago. This clock has the heavier deluxe solid cast brass bezel and beveled glass dial assembly. These old heavier solid brass bezels are somewhat rare and hard to find. The heavy beveled glass is original, so may some light scratches on it. Does show signs of age / use, chip on top and bottom left side. The 4.5 dial is in average condition with visible wear. This antique pre-owned custom copper and gold decor rebuilt/remodeled Seth Thomas Ivory-White mantel clock displays beautifully anywhere in a living area. 1880’s Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock Which Has Just Been Professionally Cleaned, Oiled, and Serviced by a long established local Clock Shop. Other than a few small areas of surface damage to the adamantine (please see images) the clok is in Very Good++ or Somewhat Better Condition. This nice old clock is in very good strong running condition, as shown, with no breaks or cracks. It dongs the the correct number of dongs on the hour and a single bell ding on the half hour. It comes with key and pendulum shown. One of the lion heads on the side is missing a pin in it’s mouth. Otherwise it’s a super nice clock with nothing else to mention.
