This clock is an estate find and while the key is present I have not wound the clock as I’ve read that they can be wound too tight. The key, Pendulum Rod, and Bob are present. There are four antique screws present on back panel that I don’t believe are original (see photos for details). The original label is still affixed to the back. Based on the label and some research I believe this clock is 1905 or 1906. Measures 15″ x 6″ x 11 and weighs 8 pounds. Original, full label on the back. The clock does’tick tock’. The Front clock glass is cracked and needs to be replaced.. But it does wind up.. This is a popular example of a Seth Thomas 8 day larger size mantle clock. A black finish Adamantine mantle or shelf model. It does run and the strike is working correctly. HOWEVER = At this time it has run for a full 8 days and the time is within a few minutes a week. It has the back wood cover and door. This is a very attractive and desirable Seth Thomas Adamantine which I enjoy purchasing and working on because Seth Thomas made very high quality movements and pioneered the sort of veneer over wood look that looks great. This is not a top of the line adamantine but has a very decent look going with the lions heads tan beige marble tone and good looking bezel. But the dial does have cracks around the winding ports.
