Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine? Mantle Clock Maple Light Color Wood Not Working. You are looking at a vintage Seth Thomas mantle clock. This one is the lighter color which I assume is a maple. The front cover opens but you have to align the catch part when closing. It is off by an 1/8. The key is included. I wound it and started the pendulum swinging. This is a really nice hard to find antique Seth Thomas 8-Day chime Adamantine six full pillared mantel clock. This is a very hard to find model in this configuration as most of these type clocks have only four pillars or half pillars. The code on the bottom of this clock (5091D) would date it to April 1905.
