This is a Seth Thomas Belmont No. It was made in 1910 and is a Time and Strike 8 day clock. Its 89AL movement is a workhorse and used in a lot of ST products so there are plenty of parts if service is needed. This particular movement is very clean and looks to have been well maintained. It kept excellent time over the 3 week testing period with a nice beat rate and no time variations. A clock of this age will normally have a few issues. Beautiful condition as shown in pictures. Key included, fully working, missing back cover. Has been professionally oiled/serviced and is keeping time and running like new. We let these clocks run for about a week and watch that the hour gongs and half-hour bells are accurate and any fast/slow adjustments made so you know this clock has been put through its paces and is running like a champ. 1880 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock No Key. This does appear to run when wound. The pendulum works as I believe it should. The clock chimes at 30 minutes as opposed to at the top of the hour, which will likely need adjusted.
