Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Brass & Copper Ships Clock Style Mantle Clock with a 6 Dial. This model has the 105 Platform Escapement Movement. But it was fully wound and not ticking for the past few years Ive owned, it was not until I moved the hands to hear the strike that it started running, which to me indicates it needs at least a cleaning and servicing. Circa 1930’s Seth Thomas Clock Co, Thomaston CT, 8 day Westminster Sonora Chime Clock. The case has a nice refinish to the mahogany veneer and features inlaid marquetry in the front panel. There are two movements. The inner one is an 8 day time and hour strike movement which activates the second Westminster Chime movement to ring out that musical chime on the 15 minute marks. The first quarter hour chimes out four notes. The length of the song increases every 15 minutes. At the hour, it chimes the full song followed by the hammer counting out the hours on one of the rods. Up for sale is an Antique Waterbury Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock. The clock features 4 glass panels, a porcelain dial, an open escapement movement, and simulated mercury pendulum. The clock ran when tested, chiming on the hour and half hour. A note inside indicated that it was last serviced in May of 2018. Antique Seth Thomas 30 Day “Arcade” Gallery Wall/Lobby Clock. Large 23.5″ cherry wood bezel with 18″ dial, and polished brass hands. In excellent working condition. Dial has some moderate wear, and light fading commensurate with age and use, but it displays beautifully in my opinion. 5 Adamantine Mantel / Shelf / Cabinet Clock that needs repaired. This clock has two complete movements inside the case. The movement closest to the dial keeps the time and strike. The second movement runs the Westminster Chimes. The chime movement works but the other movement needs a mainspring repair as it will not stay wound. I don’t know if it’s just something loose, needs a clamp, or the extent of the repair but my expertise is not in fixing mainsprings.
