Mitchell Vance & Co Seth Thomas & Sons Antique Statue Clock Repair Female Rare. This clock comes from a mans clock shop with a note saying it didnt have a pendulum or key and probably did not work. It has been in storage for at least 3 years. Its 18.5 high and 18.5 wide and 8.5 deep. There are some parts missing on the case and the rear left leg has damage. Ive shown this in the pictures. Antique American Wall Clock Circa 1860’s. Wooden case with what I believe is a walnut veneer. Hand pained glass panel with a black ground, gold detail and a central oval containing flowers. Clock face in cream with flowers in each corner. I have had this clock up and running and it keeps good time when running it chimes as it’s supposed to but the functioning is definitely intermittent and I would recommend a good overhaul. The clock face has definitely been repainted several times and could do with replacing or a professional to repaint it. Clock gongs an spiral gong every half an Hour and going counting the hours on each hour counting them.
