Made by Seth Thomas out of Plymouth Conn. USA in the late 1800’s. 25″ tall, 14 7/8″ wide, and 4 1/2 deep. Looks to be walnut but please see pictures to be sure. Front glass panes are in good shape with no cracks. The top glass has that old wavy appearance to it. Good antique patina throughout. The outside cabinet has small scratches etc. The face has patina. I bought it at an estate sale and I don’t know much about clocks but I’ll tell you what I do know. It does wind when I turn it (in other words, the key is the right size). When I push the pendulum, it works just a little and then slows down and stops. One time it actually ran for 10 minutes but then stopped. The pendulum looks great. On the clockwork lower right is the number “4½” which I’ve read is the pendulum length. On the clockwork is also “Made in USAmerica” and the Seth Thomas Logo.
