This clock comes with an alarm mechanism that I tend to see less and less of these days in clock collecting. Often these mechanisms will be seen in Ogee clocks and 8 day spring driven mantle clocks. Columns have been re-gessoed and painted in a faux marble look with gold compliments. Some veneer flaking or loose spots with age. Overall in excellent shape. The clock measures 16″ x 10 1/2″ x 5.
